To fly into Dawson City, you must first fly to Whitehorse, Yukon.
Three airlines fly into the Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport:
Air North: Flights from Whitehorse to Dawson City and other northern communities as well as daily flights to Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.
Air Canada: Daily flights from Vancouver.
First Air: Flights through the Northwest Territories.
By Car
Dawson City can be accessed via the beautiful and well-maintained Klondike Highway (approximately five hours from Whitehorse in summer conditions). For up to date road conditions, visit 511 Yukon.
